"Lea Sophie" ist ein sensibles Experiment: der Versuch, Figuration und Abstraktion nicht als Gegensätze, sondern als dialogische Ebenen in einem Bildraum zu vereinen. Im Zentrum steht ein Porträt, zart angedeutet, zugleich präsent und durchlässig. Es erscheint eingebettet in einen gestischen, offenen Hintergrund – eine Umgebung, die nicht beschreibt, sondern Resonanz erzeugt. Die abstrahierte Komposition verleiht dem Porträt eine zeitlose Qualität: Es wird nicht zur Darstellung einer Person im engeren Sinne, sondern zur Projektionsfläche für innere Zustände – für Fragilität, Wachstum, Identität. Dass der Titel von der Tochter des Künstlers stammt, verleiht dem Werk eine weitere Ebene – als Spur von Nähe, Herkunft und persönlicher Verbundenheit.

"Lea Sophie" is a delicate experiment: an attempt to unite figuration and abstraction not as opposites, but as dialogical layers within a shared pictorial space. At the center stands a portrait - subtly suggested, simultaneously present and translucent. It is embedded in a gestural, open background - an environment that does not describe but resonates. The abstract composition lends the portrait a timeless quality: it becomes less a depiction of a specific person and more a projection surface for inner states - fragility, growth, identity. The fact that the title was chosen by the artist´s daughter adds another layer - an echo of closeness, origin, and personal connection.
