Information
A whirl of darkness pulls downward – a symbol of illness, endlessly consuming parts of life. Yet a staircase leads upward, out of the vortex, toward light and vitality. With each step, the colors grow stronger, the forms more alive. Two eyes watch over the path: one celestial, one earthly – symbols of spiritual and worldly forces guiding the process of healing. "I am healing" speaks of rising from the depths back into the light.
Affirmations are an important part of my artistic work. As painting titles, they open an additional layer of interpretation and invite the viewer to experience the artwork through the lens of a positive thought or inner attitude. Every person approaches a painting with their own experiences, hopes, and challenges. In this context, the affirmations can be understood as encouragement, reassurance, or inspiration. They do not prescribe a fixed meaning but create space for personal resonance. In this way, a dialogue emerges between the artwork, its title, and the viewer - open to individual perception and interpretation.
